In 2003 “Kilmer’s Farm Market” was a startup retail business selling local produce to local customers. Since then, it has evolved into a comprehensive business that encompasses all aspects of the popular “farm to consumer” concept. The original “little red barn market” still stands, but all the operations now occur in the distance behind it at the fruit packing and storage facility
Kilmer’s Farm Market consolidates commercial fruit and vegetable growing, custom packing, cold storage, aggregating, selling, shipping, and distributing produce under one roof. This allows us to give our customers (primarily public schools) an array of local West Virginia and Mid-Atlantic produce. Our customers can place orders electronically and then schedule a timely delivery. Because we provide the necessary networking to acquire quality products an offer reliable service to our customers we help ease their work load.
